Specialty reinsurance firm Axis Capital Holdings has hired Govind Balu as its new Chief Data and Analytics Officer. In addition to leading the company’s Analytics Center of Excellence, Balu will be responsible for coordinating with Axis Capital’s teams across the globe to produce data-centered business solutions for the company

Prior to joining AXIS Capital, Balu served as chief data and analytics officer for Allstate Roadside Services. He has also held senior data analytics roles at Walgreens Corporation and Bank of America.
