Seeking to expand its IIoT Foresight Platform, AI analytics company QiO has acquired the license to BT’s SATURN cybersecurity data visualization technology. Baz Khuti, Co-Founder and CEO of QiO says that BT license acquisition will “reduce the time and cost of data science.”

BT developed SATURN to ingest and analyze huge amounts of data using AI, and then present a real-time visual representation of a network to users, including cyber security engineers. As well as being used extensively in-house by BT Security teams to protect BT, the technology forms a key part of the Cyber Security Platform that BT offers to corporate customers.
SATURN combines data visualization with patented machine learning techniques, allowing cyber experts to uncover important data patterns and increasingly predict and detect cyber-attacks at an early stage. It is one of many technologies developed by BT’s Innovation Labs teams that are now available under license to other companies, allowing them to enhance their products and improve their business operations.
