Leandro DalleMule, formerly CDO and head of information at American International Group (AIG) for the last five years, has accepted an appointment to become AI data platform Planck Resolution’s general manager for North America.

A report on DalleMule’s departure from AIG was filed in the Insurance Journal:

Prior to joining AIG, DalleMule was with BlackRock for a brief five month period; Citi as senior director of global analytics from 2011 to 2013, and Deloitte Consulting for almost six years starting in 2006.

“After a thorough due diligence, my decision to join Planck Resolution is based on its exceptional talent, its robust AI platform and client base, and its ability to solve key data gaps most insurers struggle with – something I can attest from my own experience as Chief Data Officer of AIG,” said DalleMule in prepared remarks.

Planck Resolution offers an artificial intelligence driven data platform to streamline the commercial underwriting process by “aggregating small and medium businesses’ digital footprint to help insurers acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer risk.” Founded in 2016 by Elad Tsur, Amir Cohen and David Schapiro, the startup announced its first funding round of $12 million in July 2018. The round was led by Arbor Ventures and included Viola FinTech and Eight Roads. Planck has offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
