Healthcare data analytics firm DataGen has appointed Kate Poglitsch as its new Chief of Analytics. In addition to her regular data analytics duties, Poglitsch will supervise DataGen’s healthcare-focused development of Medicare policy analytics and emerging healthcare payment models.
Poglitsch believes that DataGen will benefit most from combining policy and data analytics to heighten quality patient care, promote a better customer experience, and drive value generation for the company.

With more than 20 years of experience in data analytics, Ms. Poglitsch has expertise in developing roadmaps for innovation, benchmarking and measuring outcomes, and proactively managing change. She spent the last 10 years at Beacon Health Options, most recently as the SVP of Informatics and Analytics. There, she led the company’s analytic thought leadership efforts, transforming Beacon into an information-based, outcomes-driven culture. Ms. Poglitsch developed best practices related to data preparation and analysis, and drove process improvements for clinical and quality outcomes measurement and program evaluation.
